Michelle wrote her first review after receiving an eARC (Advance Reader Copy) from an author friend, who requested an honest assessment of her book.  Subsequent book reviews were written when specific books moved her to write about her reading experience.  She is not a professional book reviewer, editor or author.  However, she has extensive experience in technical writing, editing and spent three years working in college newspaper production.

She prefers contemporary stories, especially those featuring strong, intelligent female characters and men who are attracted to take-charge women. It takes a strong man to balance out, support and love, a strong woman. Fully developed adults have baggage. How they deal with it, and bring it to a new relationship, draws her in, as a reader.

Michelle adores animal shifters, and men in uniform, especially Veterans (like her Hubby). Men who devote their lives to protecting others, in addition to a woman with some real life experience, and compelling storytelling, are her Kryptonite.
